Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) Summit

A Seismic Shift in Promotion & Tenure


This virtual summit (September 16-18, 2020) targets senior university administrators, faculty innovators and other key external stakeholders from the I&E ecosystem that are capable of implementing change within their organization(s) to support inclusive I&E efforts for university faculty. Approximately 200-300 attendees from around the country are anticipated. An application and selection process will be used to ensure a diverse cross section of attendees. Key to the success of this endeavor will be engagement from across the higher education ecosystem including:

  • Undergraduate institutions (PUIs)
  • Masters (M1) universities
  • Doctoral (R1) universities
  • Minority-serving institutions such as historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), Tribal colleges and universities (TCUs) and Hispanic serving institutions (HSIs)
  • Organizations and stakeholders directly impacting this community
